Licensed Clinical Psychologist

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience based in Orange County, CA. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology & Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine and my Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology with a Health Psychology emphasis from the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles, CA. 

 

Within my practice, I work with individuals and couples who are experiencing difficulty coping with life stressors related to identity development, stress, academics, relationships, parenting, health concerns, and much more. My treatment approach is client-centered in combination with theoretical orientations including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based therapy, and humanistic and interpersonal therapies. Depending on each individual, meditation and breath work interventions are also utilized. Additionally, mindfulness coaching is an option for anyone interested in learning more and cultivating a long term mindfulness practice. 

 

My approach with each client is aimed at promoting and encouraging self-awareness, self-compassion, and finding strategies and coping mechanisms to enhance one’s feelings of meaning, purpose, and overall quality of life. We start by building a strong rapport, creating treatment goals, having an open dialogue and creating a safe space that encourages openness. I strive to create a non-judgmental, caring, and compassionate space for each person as I know how important these aspects are to creating a harmonious therapeutic relationship.
